Freeriding on the Arlberg
Over 300 kilometers of marked slopes, 88 lifts and 200 kilometers of downhill runs in open terrain – that speaks for itself. Ski Arlberg, the largest contiguous ski area in Austria, offers a lot for ski lovers on and off the slopes. The Arlberg is thus rightly considered a true freeride El Dorado.
Take advantage of our freeride special on your next stay with the code “freeride23”.
Winter wonderland St. Anton am Arlberg
Winter is here in St. Anton am Arlberg. The whole village is covered in a white dress, the slopes are ready and the powder snow shines even in the open terrain. Idyllic descents through snow-covered forests and varied lines on steep slopes await. Safety is the number one priority. Only with the right equipment should start the journey into the field. A transceiver, probe and shovel are therefore a must for every freerider and ski tourer. The avalanche situation report provides daily information on the current avalanche and snow situation.
Freeride action on the Arlberg
A descent through fresh powder snow is probably the most beautiful thing for every skier and snowboarder. How good that the Arlberg not only offers plenty of snow, but also sheer endless downhill runs for all powder snow enthusiasts. Numerous ski routes start directly from the ski resort. Here you can find all the information about the different routes and their opening status. Even far from the slopes and the ski resort, there are many trails that promise powder runs. Head to the top on touring skis or a splitboard before making your well-deserved way down. Here, too, the rule is: safety first. A local guide knows the current conditions and will be happy to show you the most beautiful slopes around St. Anton am Arlberg.
